Okey dokey: for the commonfolk, the Fallout series is OK.

But for those who truly know the universe, it’s amazing.

I don´t think praising the series even more is necessary. Everyone knows, from rotten tomatoes to IGN, that´s a 9/10.

But my point is: this series is way better for those who know the games, the world, and the atmosphere. It´s all there!

Fallout original games made me love gaming narratives, experiences, and progression exploring the decrepit wastelands. The number of choices, weapons, strategies, and perks was unbelievable compared to other games of that time. Fallout isn't the kind of IP that everyone buys, especially because it´s lore and mood takes time, a little effort, and even some references to cook. But I promise, it is worth your time.

Ella Purnell was born to be Lucy MacLean.

In the series, there´s one more smart set of choices: a spinoff plot, with a little dip into the world´s lore: insane factions, corrupted companies, strange creatures, and almost too-dark humor. From the creators to the stars, is very clear that everyone knows what they´re doing. Ella Purnell, perfect as Lucy(or Goosey), told us that she played the Fallout games to get ready for the show. That´s more than you expected of recent Marvel or DC lazy and crappy productions.

Thanks 2024, for Dune 2 and Fallout.

It´s so good to watch good stuff and well adapted. I hope this is a new beginning to rebuild our cinematic dystopia, full of terrible and generic series, movies, games, and lazy narratives. I feel very, very proud of great shows like this as I felt when Larian's Baldurs Gate 3 delivered something that took time and effort to be more than just OK and became a masterpiece.

Praise the apocalypse Architects

Wars may be all the same, but who's in the trenches makes all the difference. From the cast to the creators and directors, Prime did it with love and respect for this great IP. But

But all of us, you, me, and Amazon Prime owe thanks to Interplay, Black Isle, and Bethesda. And more: to Todd Howard, Tim Cain, Chris Avellone, Josh Sawyer, and the whole team that brought this apocalyptic world to life.

Behind every Okey Dokey, every obscure joke, every psychopathic robot, and every decadent creature of the wastelands, there is impeccable world-building work.

And that, smoothskins, doesn’t happen every day.
